My retrospective look at angel imagery in the on-line Sacred Art Pilgrim Collection comes to an end this week with a glitter-sprinkled, mixed media cardboard panel painting of Christ & the Angels in Glory by Rudolph Valentino Bostic. This self-taught, visionary artist from Savannah, Georgia, knows how to turn throw-away appliance boxes into images of the sublime, often depicting winged divine messengers in both his central images and in the visual vignettes that frame them.
