Out & About: Exhibit of Cardboard Creations by Rudolph Valentino Bostic

St. Peter’s Episcopal Church at 45 West Winter Street in Delaware, Ohio, is holding the art exhibition, Cardboard Creations by Rudolph Valentino Bostic. This is the third show in church's Art in the Sanctuary program and the first time works will be on display by a single artist. This self-taught, “visionary” art-maker from Savannah, Georgia, is known for his vividly-colored, recycled cardboard panel paintings on biblical themes. The art works in the show illustrate the Creation of the World, heroes of the Hebrew Scriptures, the Life of Jesus, and end with a vision of Christ and the angels, blessing humanity. Cardboard Creations by Rudolph Valentino Bostic is open to visitors from August 7 to September 18 on Fridays from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., following the10:30 a.m, worship service. Individual and groups are welcome to see the show by special arrangement. For more information, please call 740-369-3175 or message: sacredartpilgrim@gmail.com. (John Kohan)
